I just SOLD THIS HOME mailings and flyers! Do they work?

Im not sure about the rest of the country, but in TN if you are the Buyer's Agent and you sell a house, you have the right to advertise that property as SOLD BY YOU!

I think this is a great tool. I use alot of grass roots advertising with my listings. You know, knocking on all the neighbor's doors to raise awareness of listing and myself, flyers @ deli's or stores nearby, and other ways.

I think the I JUST SOLD flyer shows that you can do what you say! If you want to sell your house and I just SOLD your neighbors, all of a sudden you feel better about me getting it done! \

So with that said I am going to the neighborhoods of the 2 homes I sold last week, flyers and postcards in hand to kiss hands and shake babies, I mean shake hands and kiss babies! :}

Maybe tomorrow I will be able to talk about my new listing!

I haven't had any success with them myself, but the principle is as old as sales itself, it's called farming, and if done the right way, and frequently it works. You can start it by proclaiming the current leading sales agent in that neighborhood!  After all who can argue?

I don't know....I don't do any mailings or door cards...we are just so overwhelmed with them in So Cal that I don't see how they are distinguished...seems the internet is a much better place to put money and time.

Hi Richard, We are not allowed to advertise others listings unless we get their written permission. Although I like your idea have never done that but knew a guy many yrs ago who did and he quickly became known as the "area expert" in that area. I send out full color Quarterly newsletter to my service area and I usually pick up a listing or two so well worth it. Have a great day and good luck to you.

We can do that here as well. We can also put a rider on the top of the listing agent's sign post while it is pending. No one does. Congrats on the new clients.
