APRIL IS TAKE A BITE OUT OF HUNGER MONTH
Hunger Exists in Catawba County
In 2008, more than 14,000 USDA Emergency Food Bags were distributed by the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry at an estimated value of more than $800,000.
Families are in need and you can make a difference by donating food or money during the month of April.
The following restaurants will donate 10% of the day's proceeds to the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry Emergency Food Pantry Program:
