Wordless Wednesday: Playing with Picnik

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners

Okay...I'm breaking the rules here a little because today's Wordless Wednesday is not exactly "wordless". But today's photo is one that I took into Picnik.com and added a lot of effects to...I think it turned out pretty cool. If you've never played with Picnik.com you should take a look at it--you can do a ton of cool things to your photos. Besides just the standard photo editing features of cropping and removing red-eye, this program also allows you to add text to your photos, enhance the colors and add borders, along with so much more.

Go ahead, try it out...you'll be hooked :-)

P.S. Besides playing with the colors some and adding a border, I also added the effect HDR-ish which made it really neat looking

Pretty cool indeed Anne !

... I have not had enough time to play with Piknik yet, but I know a lot of peeps love it...

I'll add it to the 'must get to one of these days' list !!!!

Thanks for sharing this Anne !

Cheers !

I ran back to Picnik after saving my photo for Wordless Wednesday and made a last minute change.  I am kind of stuck in a rut when it comes to using the same things on Picnik. I always add a drop shadow

I did one thing I had never done before today but I will have to try some new things like the effect HDR-ish.

Anne,

Nice effects. I usually don't go in for editing but I'll take a look. :)

Anne, I just discovered Picnik a couple of days ago and have done some standard editing but didn't even realize it would do all this other stuff, too.

Thanks for being a "rule breaker"!  :-)

Hi Anne, I like what you did with your photo!  I haven't tried Picnik, I will try to get over there and play with it - I like the idea of just being able to add a border -- presently I can't do that in the programs I have.  Thanks Anne!
