Virginia,
What an amazing photo, or shoudl I say Amazing landscape. Built on a contrast between the desert and lush green golf course with white sandy banks. And a gorgeous house sitting on top.
Virginia, the roadrunner may as well hang out until the new owners buy the place. Looks well maintained.
you have to be quick with a camera to get one of those on film!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Unique house, gorgeous views of golf course... even the roadrunner wants to live there!
Thanks, Jon, the sun was directly overhead - I caught all of the colors just right - what a beautiful view from that foreclosure property.
Gary, the house was very well cared for, I knew the folks renting it before it was foreclosed. Now the water is off, so the yard will dry up in this heat, but that is an easy fix.
Charles - it was a lucky shot, I am not that fast. ) The roadrunner is around there all the time, he must live in the desert surrounding the golf course.
Regina - We think the roadrunner does live there, he perches on that wall a lot, enjoying the view - I guess he doesn't know his home is bank owned now.
Miss Virginia,
You are developing quite the eye. Great shot. I think Mike Jones might need to start worrying.
Richard
Virginia,
I like the perspective and the various colors. A nice shot from the foreground to up the hill. :)
Steve
Yes, Richard. Mike should be scared. Very scared.
Thanks, Steve, I was actually in a pretty uncomfortable position.
Virginia- That is one gorgeous photo! Did you use photo shop to fix it up or is that all natural?
Katerina - No, just a clean shot - I don't know how to use photo shop. Mesquite is all natural desert with all different elevations and terrains with mountains all around - then we have the 7 golf courses, which are kept green. It looks like this all year and the flowers bloom from early spring till late fall.
I was taking some backyard pics of this foreclosure home for an out of town buyer and it was like the roadrunner was posing for me. :)
Wow! It looks like even the roadrunners are taking advantage of foreclosures in Mesquite!
Hi Terri, How do you tell a roadrunner that he is living in a bank owned home?
Todd, that's Hollywood for ya! I just recently found out that I am taller than Mel Gibson.
