The worlds largest software company reported it's first revenue dip in 23 years today. Net income dropped from $3 billion, or 33 cents per share, for its third quarter, a 32% drop in profits from the $4.4 billion, or 47 cents per share, reported in the same period the previous year.
The company's total revenue fell 6% to $13.7 billion from $14.5 billion from the previous year.
Earnings include 6 cents per share of charges related to layoffs and impairments to investments.
