5 years before and 5 years now

Where do you want to be in 5 years ? If you could look back in time 5 years ago-- where you are today, is that what you would have seen. We have 2 choices in life; 1. To go after our dreams and let nothing stop us, reach our goals and have respect for ourself. or 2 Not go after our dreams, and later in life being pissed off for not trying. What path are you on??????

I have not regrets in life.  I was in martial arts in my 20's and competed all over the eastern coast and then became an instructor.  Also I became a skydiver -- that is such a rush that I cant explain. 

I'm 36 and the last 5 years has been mostly real estate.  I love it but that was 5 years before.  Now looking 5 years ahead I will be combining all my joys... real estate, martial arts, skydiving and enjoying my Harley Davidson.

I surely dont want to look back and have the thoughts; I could have, I should have, I would have  BUT...

Are you meeting and achieving your dreams and goals?

Dreams are not made over night, they take baby steps.  What are your baby steps to reach your dreams?  Baby steps hapen EVERY day not just here and there.

Ah, youthful exuberance. I'm in my 60's and I can say I have few regrets. Take each day, one at a time and savour them.

I agree that taking one day at a time is the way to go.  I want to be able to look back in life and be proud of what I did.  Everyone has the same 7 days in a week  Each Sunday night when I take out the trash I pause at the end of the driveway and reflect my "week in review".  What did I accomplish, what could I have done better, and what are my goals for the upcomming week?  That little 5 minute session each week has proved to be very helpful to me.

We as a free society get trapped in our thinking of day-to-day repetition- and that steals our " FREE LIVING" thoughts. I love reading quotes from the past of highly successful people. Its amazing-- they all same the same thing in different ways. FREE THE MIND OF WHERE YOU ARE TODAY AND FILL IT WITH STRIVE, DRIVE AND CAN NOT FAIL THOUGHTS, OF WHAT YOU TRULY DESIRE AND YOU WILL MAKE IT !!!!!!!  I have my 5 years planned and NOTHING is going to stop me.  I hope in 5 years you are where you want to be.
