Hey, can you spare a quarter?

This is not a real estate post. Far from it although there is a lesson in it for us all.

My wife and I were out to eat tonight with my son and his friend. She has a newborn and a five year old son. Her son, Robert is his given name, is a smart kid that I have called "Bobby Boy" since I held him as a newborn.

When we had finished eating Bobby Boy said he needed to go to the restroom.  He had already been over to the arcade games and played something.  I said I would accompany him to the bathroom.

As we were headed to the bathroom we passed by where the arcade games were located.  Another young boy, perhaps seven years old, said "I need another quarter."  I said I don't have any change. 

As we walked away Bobby Boy said "wait."  He went back, gave the boy a quarter and said, "here, you can have this one."

As we look at all the bad stuff in this world I think we need to remember there are some kids growing up with some great values that will help this country continue to be good.

Well done, Bobby Boy. I was so impressed!
