The World Health Organization Director-General Margaret Chan has called an emergency meeting today to consider declaring an international public health emergency. If the World Health Organization does declare an international public health emergency then they will consider measures including travel advisories, trade restrictions and border closures.
So far the World Health Organization is reporting 62 deaths in Mexico. So far Mexico has closed schools, museums, libraries and theaters in an attempt to contain the outbreak, which may have sickened about 1,000 people there.
