You too can fly to Florida for a free steak dinner & be whisked away to look at swamp land...err I mean vacant property. For $50 down & $50 a month you too can own your own piece of the sunshine state.
Yes, that's REALLY how it all got started here. It's amazing isn't it? You can check the tax rolls in Cape Coral & see that the original buyers were from all over the country and the world. They mostly purchased one or two parcels each. Most are classified as 'disqualifed mail order sales'.
Now, our town has over 150,000 residents with more moving here every day. We have big businesses here. Like a super wal-mart, a neighborhood Wal-Mart, another on the way, a Target with a Super Target coming in, Lowe's & a new Lowe's opening up soon. We also have a Home Depot with another one a few miles away in N. Ft. Myers. We have our very own Starbucks coming soon! We have a BJs, many great restaurants, 2 Bob Evans, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabas, Applebee's, Jason's Deli, Houlihans, Rum Runners, to name a very few! We have our own Waterpark & go-cart/mini golf/arcade! We have a very nice Youth Center & Skatepark.
The city was originally dredged to build up the land & leave over 400 miles of canals. Some are gulf access while others are freshwater. You can boat to area shopping & dining from your backyard! We still have loads of vacant land to expand upon.
Cape Coral is the 2nd largest city in Florida landwise - did you know that?
If you have any questions about this city please let me know. Having lived here the past 12 years I have seen many changes & am ready for many more.
