For the month ending March 2009 the South Portland Maine real estate market saw 21 single family and residential transactions occur at a combined median price of 192K with the median home sitting on the market for 138 days. In March 2008 transaction volume was similar with 22 properties trading hands at a median price of 207K . The current inventory level for residential homes is at 125 compared to 126 a month prior.
