Word of the day-another word for a gossip

One who is curious to know everything that passes; one who knows or pretends to know all that is going on; gossip; a busybody.

He was a true quidnunc and wouldn't stop gossiping about everybody. 

We wanted to put tape on his mouth to shut him up.  He if spent more time talking with potential clients, he would have made it in the real estate business but instead, he was more curious to know other people's business and refused to focus on his own.
