The housing market is NOT as bad as the media wants you to think...

By
Education & Training with Road to Wealth, Inc.

The media makes it look like the world's coming to an end. Everywhere you look there saying how we’re all basically doomed.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THAT IS THE DUMBEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Photo courtesy of jaz1111These folks are not entrepreneurs and they are WRONG.

Here's proof: 3 weeks ago my Realtor friend Chris Curry did 9 open houses with his Sold-In-A-Week method. He expected to sell almost every home during his
open house.

According to "experts", the odds were against him because:

1. We're in a recession and nobody's buying homes.

2. It is impossible to sell homes at a open house.

3. Home buyers are waiting before making any home buying decisions because they want to see if the housing market will drop anymore.

4. Buyers can’t get financing.

5. Blah blah blah...

Let me tell you something. 99.99% of the people spouting this junk are barely making enough to live on.

Newscasters are NOT entrepreneurs like Realtors are. They are NOT in business for themselves. They are NOT financial experts.

They are nothing but paid employees who are reading a script.

So here's what I'd say to the "experts" who would tell you that selling homes at an open house wouldn't be possible today:

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND GET OUT OF THE WAY."

And the reason I'd say that is because Chris sold 6 out of the 9 homes he was selling that week-end with his Sold-In-A-Week method.

So why did these buyers ignore the doom and gloom talking heads on TV? Why did they decide to step up and buy a home when things only seem to be getting
worse?

Because the Sold-In-A-Week method creates a "hot market" for ANY home and gets buyers off the fence. Chris has proven it to over and over again by selling over 70 transactions sides in the last 12 months.

This method doesn’t only work for Chris. It’s worked for many other Realtors. (Including Mike Cribbons who made $70K in commissions within his first 3 weeks of using it.)

Or Scott Tonges who had 117 buyers to his first Sold-In-A-Week open house.

Or Jessica Stroud who has generated so many buyer leads from the Sold-in-A-Week method she provides them for her whole office.

And because the Sold-In-A-Week system teaches you how  to do the ONLY thing that's guaranteed to make you a commission ...no matter what else is happening in
the world.

...And that one thing is this: MAKE SALES.

At the end of the day, that's what the Sold-In-A-Week system does for you. It gets you sales.

And Chris and these few other Realtors are proof.

So I'd like to invite you to become a Sold-In-A-Week agent right now and JOIN US.

Join the ranks of Realtors who are committed to creating Real Estate businesses that CRUSH the odds.

Join the ranks of Realtors who REFUSE to listen to negativity...and who are committed to THRIVING AND CONTRIBUTING even in these so-called difficult times.

Watch this video, see what the Sold-In-A-Week system can do for you, and if it "feels right", then go for it.

Here is some real information for those who think unemployment is shall I quote not bad:

Payroll employment continued to decline sharply in March (-663,000), and the unemployment rate rose from 8.1 to 8.5 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today.

Since the recession began in December 2007, 5.1 million jobs have been lost, with almost two-thirds (3.3 million) of the decrease occurring in the last 5 months. In March, job losses were large and widespread across the major industry sectors. Unemployment (Household Survey Data) In March, the number of unemployed persons increased by 694,000 to 13.2 million, and the unemployment rate rose to 8.5 percent. Over the past 12 months, the number of unemployed persons has grown by about 5.3 million, and the unemployment rate has risen by 3.4 percentage points.

8.5% of America is out of a job (over 13 million people need work).  People are hurting right now and washing this into something it's not is in poor taste.

Being positive is great but inflating and ignoring the facts is horrible.

Let's build consumer confidence but not trivialze the problem.

The news only likes to broadcast bad news, and the housing market is actually doing GREAT. Think locally, not nationally. Some times the best deals are in your own backyard.

Visit http://www.rementor.com for more information on how to invest and flip those houses for nice chunks of cash.

I stopped listening to the media.  I do what I'm supposed to do.  Real estate market is local and we know our area better than any news media.  Houses are selling only if they are priced right otherwise, they languished.

I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful comments, but to those of you have called this a blatant ad, I would love you to read a post by my friend Todd Clark in response to those who feel that way, it says what I wanted to say even better than I could!

Who are you trying to fool? Yourself or your future clients

George

WOW, I am shocked at how many negative comments are over here and that is why I had to post my own response to you! To all of you that think this is blatant advertising or a landing page link... You bet it is! What is your link to your website at the end of every one of your posts? What is your listing on your blog? YOU ARE ALL SELLING SOMETHING! The only thing you are mad at is that they are advertising to you instead of someone else! You are advertising to your clients and he is advertising to his and his clients happen to be us in the real estate world!  Please ask yourself this... Would you like me to go through your posts and comment with every post that I believe is blatant advertment? I'm betting I find more than a few in there that are advertising a listing or your services as a buyers agent?

This site is not exclusive to Realtors! It is a site for everyone in the real estate industry, mortgage brokers, trainers, coaches, title officers and we are all advertising to someone. I think a lot of you owe an apology to George or you can go on to your own posts and put a foot note that reads.

THIS IS A BLATANT AD!

Rant over!

Thanks for the post. They say negative/bad news sells - but even so - newspapers are going out of business on a constant basis. Hmmmm - maybe people are just sick of reading nothing but negative? Think I will stick with positive.

George, I think it's great that you have a system that is working for some agents. I, too, would love to hear their testimonials here on AR. Either way, sorry about the "blatant ad" bashing. If you don't have anything nice to say, just go away! :)

I read Todd's post and came over here to see the fight. Not nearly as bloody as I was expecting. Great post and very true. There are large numbers of agents out there who are actually selling homes. I am one of them. I am sure that some of them are using the Sold-In-A-Week system. I am sure that many of them aren't. I am also sure that there are loads of agents out there starving who aren't doing anything.

Thanks for the positve post. The media is looking for ratings it doesnt have to be true. The problem is people  belive it and then the market is effected by it.

Hi George.....Some of the negative commenter's are really not thinking, just acting like parrots. Todd is Correct when he says anyone can post their wares here and are doing so.

The press is trying to Selling TV and Newspapers with their Arm Chair Forecasting..Nobody can accurately forecast the Future, certainly not the Press or negative Doom and Gloomer's looking to Blame the Market on their own inaction because missed out on Buying a home years ago. The News Paper's and TV Stations that are closing..mmm seems self inflected to me.

George thanks for joining AR...It's a free world here and nobody is forcing anyone to read or buy your ideas and Training tools..Those that do are seeing great results in a tough market, by not giving up and trying a fresh idea...as the saying goes, a "Quitter Never Wins and a Winner Never Quits"

Have a Great week George...Sell Lots of your "How To Sell Real Estate" Material this week in the Rain :O))

George...

I haven't finished reading all these comments. I need to bookmark your post and come back when I have a bit more time to spare. The one thing I can say is it's hard to finish reading the comments when there's so much negativity. Maybe I'll pass on reading the comments so that my honest opinion with not be affected by the opinions of those who are just assuming they know what their talking about :)

Congrats on the gold star. You sure did stir things up :)

Hi Everybody,

I really never expected for things to get so heated with this post.  But I'm glad it brought about a lively discussion.

I guess Todd Clark said it all about advertising.  If you're not advertising your business - whether it's a product or a service - you'll soon be OUT of business.  That's the whole purpose - to get MORE business.  Thanks, Todd.

When I was an agent I was always open to new ideas.  I would try almost anything - as long as it was legal - in order to increase my business and my commissions.  I read and studied whatever I could get my hands on.

Did I worry about the cost?  Only to a point.  After all, if I invested $997 or $297 or even $99 and I learned ONE thing that helped me expand my business and/or earn more commissions was it WORTH the investment?  YOU BET IT WAS!  Besides, everybody offers a refund policy, so what could I lose?  I have to tell you, though, I never never sent one package back.  I was always able to find at least ONE gem in every package.

My advice for today:  Make Your OWN Economy.

Best regards,

George
