A Real Estate agent who wrote a blog about selling a home privately from his point of view does not like the fact that I voiced my opinion and put a link to our site for selling privately. He wrote a blog about it.

Here is the link to his blog

And here is his link to his articles on FSBO

I think that if you are an agent writing about fsbo from an agent's point of view, then you should be open to discuss the other side of the story.

Cheers,

William

Again, the point that Mike made was that it was inappropriate for you to leave links in your comment on his post. How would you feel if every other person on activerain left links in their comments to this post?

If I wrote a blog about anything and someone had a relevant site to view or an opinion that was opposite to mine, then I would be glad. For example, if I wrote a blog that "no one should use an agent", and someone wrote a quality rebuttal, with a link to why you should use an agent (ie www.howrealtorshelp.ca). Then that's great. Anyone can look at both sides of the story. This person seemed to think that I post my link on every blog in the world. I posted the link because the story was about FSBO (written by an agent!) and I would want any readers to see both sides.

PS - posting links in blogs does not improve google resutls because those links are written in javascript once the page is loaded.
