Real Estate Market Not Doing Well?? I Don't Think So!!!

 

The real estate market not doing well??  I don't think so!!!

 

Sure, I'm hearing how the unemployment rate keeps rising, employees losing jobs and many families are losing their homes. 

 

If the market is so bad, then how come I am doing great with my real estate business?  Somehow that doesn't make sense.

 

I finally had the settlement for the short sale today, signed a listing for a horse farm this week, have another listing appointment next week, a couple of more listings are in the works, working with several buyers and the phone continues to ring.  Doesn't sound like I am lacking business.  Why is that?

 

In simple terms, you have to go out and find business.  Business is out there if you look for it.  It's the go-getters that are doing business.  If you expect business to come to you, well, I have news for you.  It won't happen.  You have to work hard in order to succeed, no matter what the economy. 

 

So, if you want to be successful in your business, start hitting the streets.  While your at it, now is a good time to educate yourself in your field.  The more knowledge you have, the better you will be able to assist your clients.
