Amador County Market report for May 1, 2009

Looking at today May 1, 2009, Amador County has 440 current active residential listings of homes for sale , with an average asking price of $ 363,674. The average number of days on market for these is 221 days. In the last month Amador County has had 85 new listings and 19 listings have sold.

The median priced house for sale in the area right now is a 1400 square foot 3/2 on the market at $289,000 in Pioneer.

The lowest priced home for sale in Amador County is a manufactured 2/1 in “The Highlands” park with an asking price of $19,500.  This does not include the land.

The highest price home in the area is a “turnkey operation” producing vineyard in Fiddletown, on over 137 acres with a 3250 square foot 5/2.5, with an asking price of  $5,100,000.

As you can see, Amador County has quite a range of real estate to go with its range of areas, from the valley to the mountains. And you know what we say here, “Napa is for car parts, Amador is for wine!”
