Maybe that sounds too much like a dating service, but in reality that is the impression many singles have about the industry when they are considering venturing into the world of Real Estate. Whether it is buying their first home, maybe moving up to a larger home or oh my even considering a vacation home and let's not forget the single professionals in this industry. (Singles have you ever heard, is that a wise choice without having a second income?)
So with that, I have started a group and looking for interested parties to join. You guessed it, the group is called The Single Home Buyer and Seller. It is a forum for education, inspiration, referrals and discussion regarding the needs of this demographic which as we have all heard is the fastest growing segment of the market. Mortgage professionals let's here how Singles are really qualified. Stagers you have to have stories of staging homes for singles or the lack of...... I think you get the idea.
You may ask why does it needs it's own group? Well ask any single person you know if they feel there is a need and I think you'll be amazed. Maybe that is why companies such as Coldwell Banker have just developed a program geared towards single women or other companies such as Nike, the Hotel Industry, etc are gearing their marketing dollars towards this segment, why because it is a powerful marketing force that is often missed. Just look at the lack of comments or views here on A/R when the topic is centered around Singles (yes, maybe this could be those post just didn't have that spark) but if you look at them across the board I think you'll see a consistency.
But more startling in a recent study 91% of singles studied felt Advertisers did not understand them. (Source Greenfield)
I could keep this little niche to myself but how fun would that be, so I wanted to make sure you all got a proper introduction and I hope to begin blogging with all on this special segment of our market!
Come one, come all!!!!
