I'm going to check it out, I've been doing some of my posts in publisher and then copy and pasting them. I haven't been too happy with that.
Hey Tim - I read Katerina's post and plan to check out that html editor, too! I have had good luck with NVu, though! I like lots of resources!

Sharon, It's a little <> icon at the top. Third icon from the left in the toolbar. Took me awhile also to find it.
Thanks so much for sharing this - I couldn't figure out why the <font> codes werenm't working. This makes more sense now.
All those colors, fonts, options....going hog wild overboard with all the options can make a big mess..like standing on one side of the room and tossing christmas ornaments and handfuls of tinsel. Easy does it.
Hi Tim -- Great tip, thanks. Given that this is a blogging platform, it's be nice to get a robust product right here in AR.
Tim: This sounds very interesting.. I have not got to fancy on my post yet.. I need to learn to be more fancy at tiems. Thanks for the info
Tim,
You did a commendable research and found what you were looking for. I so far did not see the need in any jazz up. I purposedly decided not to change the classic look of the blog the way it originally was, and now the only thing I need is to wait another 30 years so that it will become "classic" like Coca Cola bottle (LOL0
Jon, I'm with you. I still have the classic ActiveRain template. I can't decide which graphic might help so I stayed with none.
The only formatting that I am interested in is the highlighting function. I like to highlight a few main points in a post to make it easier for readers to quickly get the main point. If they quickly see the main point, they might stick around and read the rest.
ActiveRain has been a wealth of information for me; everything from SEO ideas to social media; and now more about html code. Thanks!
Tim you are a doll for sharing your find!
I will definitely check out the on line editor. I'm tired of my 'vanilla' blogs and you my man may have found the spice that was missing!
To whomever featured Tim's post I would like to give a big 'shout out'!! I would never have come across Tim's post without you oh great rain maker!! xoxo
Hi Tim - Great find! I got tired of using Nvu, didn't work the way I liked, this is much easier. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I will definitely try this, as I been trying to read the html tutorial ... and have learned somethings, but this is even better. thank you,
