Sales Low In Milwaukee for April

It's like Real Estate fell off the face of the earth.  I just checked my weekly report on one of my web sites.  This isn't the most popular or active site but it does send me stats every week.  Viewings are down 66% for last week of April 2009.

My most viewed listing used to average 130 to 140 hits a week.  Now it has slowly dropped to 22.  Sales stats are rising a little in the Milwaukee area.  Most days in April have seen around 100 new listings a day on the MLS in Milwaukee.  A good day has 20 sales for all the Milwaukee MLS.  In 2005 that would have been over 100 sales a day.

How are things in other parts of the country?  All we hear on the news is slight increases or decreases from 1 to 4%.  I think the news is lying to us.  What are the real facts?
