Almost everywhere in the nation green homes are gaining more and more interest in today's Eco friendly buyers market. Everyone has there own reason for wanting a green home. Most green home buyers are looking at saving money on the ever increasing utility's bills and reducing there carbon foot prints for our future generations. Some are just earth friendly and conscious of there impact on the earth.
I have been asked by several buyers lately and I thought I should dig into and post for you exactly what is available in Lexington South Carolina homes that are green certified. After much research I have found that there are 2 great options to custom building now available. Here is what you need to look at in Lexington SC Communities if wanting a green home.
Wellesley in Lexington South Carolina is a Land Tech property development and Shumaker Homes is the green builder in this project. You can take the tour here. Land Tech has a great environmental approach on all of its land developments. But not all homes are green certified.
Saluda River Club in Lexington South Carolina on the scenic Lower Saluda River in Lexington SC. LOVE IT! Great community concept. But all homes are not built to green specifications. Building green is always an option here. See more of the Saluda River Club here.
Both of these new home Communities in Lexington South Carolina have green home options and are open now on the Columbia South Carolina Tour of Homes for 2009.
Other than that there isn't much green concept building in Lexington South Carolina without going to the option of custom building. But I consider both Wellesley and the Saluda River Club great alternative options.
