Who do you trust?

Are you like me and get hundreds of emails everyday from some internet guru who knows how you can millions in the next year?  I have to say I am a sucker for some of these things but I have decided that the only ones making millions are the ones I give my money to.  I have tried getting referrals from internet sites which 99% of the time are not worth my time.  I have tried getting coaching and most of what I get is so generic and not personal that it is useless.  I have ordered all types of resources, books, videos, etc and much of it has not been beneficial.  I am making a late new years resolution, no more purchases from the internet for at least the next six months.  The only thing I find that truly builds my business is networking.  I am looking for more local networks to join and plan on spending a large part of my business time talking to other people in person.

Good post - I fall for them also - the best course is to avoid these emails altogether.

I think anything will work somewhat as long as you follow the instructions.  They all are telling us what we already know  "stuff like "plan your work work your plan" etc.  I never buy at a seminar - I think about it overnight.  The only one I've ever paid for was Floyd Wickman training and that was worth every cent.  I had never had any sales training and it really helped me. Reading ActiveRain posts is FREE and wonderful education - it's kind of like a mastermind group we can do in our bathrobes if we want.   Like me ---right now  lol.

I went through 700+ emails yesterday and deleted anything I knew was from some internet guru.  It felt really good.  I do like ActiveRain and similar sites such as Facebook.  Thanks for the referral for Floyd Wickman, maybe I'll Google him and see what he offers.  I always need more education.
