Well- this rainy spring day brought back the Grosbeaks to our bird feeders in NW Montana. They are so colorful and fill the deck and skies with bright yellow, black and white. AND While their beaks are large conical shaped -- they are certainly not GROSS! While just 2 visited us today- last year we were up to 14 (must have been after the babies were born) So I will just sip my cup of tea and start the day with a natural high!
Hi Debra-I am a big fan of songbirds and grosbeaks are definitely not gross but a beautiful bird. I had that one pictured above and Also the rose breasted one. Both stunning. They are a bit of a feeder hog but still very pretty, <SMILE>

Grossbeaks are a beautiful bird! Sounds like a great way to start the day sipping tea and watching birds.
I agree. Definitely not gross. It's so pretty! I wish we had some of those down here in Florida!
