As agents representing buyers and sellers our real work begins when the offer is written. Let's face it, finding the buyers their home, in their price range, area where they want to live, etc. is fairly easy. Getting that home to close; in today's market is the hard part.
The lenders, inspectors, and aprraiser guidlines have all seemed to tighten up. And it seems to me that everyone is trying to cover themselves with extra care. Which I don't have a problem with, however on the other end we have agents, sellers or buyers etc. who have waited so long for these deals to come to fruition, that there can be great frustrations that sets in. It is in times like these that I feel I earn my money- keeping cool, while everyone else is just boiling over.
Don't get me wrong- I am just as frustrated, it is just that for my clients I think cooler heads prevail.
