Incorporated in 1888, the City of Escondido is one of the oldest in Southern California. As such, it has charming streets with great character. From bungalows to cape cods to historic charmers, the streets of historic Escondido have at all.
Every Mother's Day, the Old Escondido Historic District is open to the public and offers its Old Escondido Mother's Day Home Tour. Five unique homes will be available for touring. Tickets are $15 now, and $18 if purchased on the day of the event. Lemonade and cookies will be served.
