What do you see if your rear view mirror? by Robert Swetz
People see different things in their rear view mirror, for me I see something very special. When I was in South East Asia April & May of 2008 someone gave me this special button that has arms and legs.
It is a photograph of my daughter Cherry that lives back in Myanmar, and every time I glance into my rear view mirror I see her special little face.
I wore it for about one month as a necklace and then I rapped it's arms around the bracket of my rear view mirror, it has been there ever since.
Some people might say it's dangerous and might ubstruct my vision while driving. I have been riding motor cycles for 30 years and I have never relied on mirrors while driving, I always look over my shoulder.
When Cherry sets foot on American soil, I will take the button down from my mirror. But until then I will continue to look at her looking back at me, hoping and praying for her arrival.
