The Constitution

The Constitution does not have the words "Separation of Church and State" in it.  What it does say is "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof".  This simply means the FEDERAL Government can not establish a federal religion like what England had at the time the Constitution was written.  It also means the the Federal Government can not tell me how to worship or practice my faith.

It does not say anywhere that my faith has to stay out of the Government - But Federal Government has NO business in my faith.
