MLS provides great map for San Francisco Buyers

By
Real Estate Agent with Bettina Clairmont

The San Francisco Multiple Listing Service provides a great map for home buyers to help them narrow down their search to specific areas. Whenever I meet with a new client for the first time I use these maps to figure out exactly what area my buyers would like me to search for property for them.

Does your MLS provide these maps?

OUR MLS MAP SUCKS!!!!

We just switched map systems and the new one did not pick up the listings from the old one so only about 1/2 of the listings are actually mapped.

Hi Bettina:  Nice to meet you on AR.  I am an EBA in NH.  How is the market in SF?  I still have a condo in SF and hope to return in the not too distant future!

Joan,

A fellow EBA - great! The market is still a very strong seller's market in SF --- good for you that you have property here. My buyers are getting very frustrated because they constantly get outbid! There doesn't seem to be any end in sight. According to newspaper articles it's the "wealth effect" in SF that keeps this going.

Bettina: It is incredible that the seller's market has been going for such a long time given the rest of the country. Thanks for the update. When I get to SF for a visit, I will let you know so we can meet in person. If any of your buyers or someone they know are moving to NH, just let me know.
