RAIN...not ACTIVE!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Metro Referrals

Rain, rain go away!!!!  A childhood nursery rhyme, but appropriate for Northern Virginia.  It seems as though the sun hasn't shown in months!  Our rain deficit has been surpassed and we are all mildewed!! But, there's a bright side...we won't have a water shortage this summer, and the crops will be great, the farmers will make money, hay will be cheap...well, maybe not cheap, but not too expensive. I'm just waiting for a good day to go walk a horse farm and talk to a prospective seller.  Soon, I hope.  Now all I have to worry about will be the copperheads!!!!  Guess I can drag out my wellies.  They can't hit higher than that, can they?  Hope not!!!!!  Sure hope I get the listing!!!

It's been raining here for a while also.  I can't remember the last day that was not overcast.

Anne, sounds like rain is a trend in various places.  I tried to mow the back yard today, but it's like a swamp we've had so much rain.  Fortunately we had a dry day or two, but before that I swear it felt like it rained for two months and now more rain is on the way.

We only get 10" a year on average here so sometimes we miss the rain here in the high desert. Hope you dry out soon!

Anne, I, too am sick of the rain.  And today I started to remember the rain story from my childhood -

Susan Amantha Cottonwood was a little girl who was always good

When the sun shone....

It went on, but you get the idea!
