If you've ever relocated to another city or area, you realize how lonely it can be without friends. Here in the Raleigh, Durham, NC area the power of mom-to-mom networking for support, friendship, conversation and play dates is a really great source.
The Mommies Network is nationwide but you have to visit the main site and see if your city has it's own online forum.
Personally, I know its been a life saver for me! Who knew a 3 year old could stump me so often. It's also been a wonderful way to meet other people in my area that have similar interests. Take the time to reach out to others around you...it might make that new move feel a little more like home...
