Not too long ago, Twitter was unknown in my town in Lakeland Florida until we had a Tweetup/Meetup a few months ago. Since then, more and more local folks signed up on Twitter and my focus is concentrated in marketing and hyper local blogging for folks interested and living in the Lakeland area and the surrounding cities on social media marketing and networking sites.   

Real Estate is local and once you have listed yourself with Localtweeps, any tweet you send that ends with #lt will become your Localtweep status, which will be placed on top of the list.  For example, follow your real estate company for listings, open house at 123 Main Street, real estate tips, etc. the possibilities are endless…
