Sign of Lake Ridge VirginiaLooking at Lake Ridge, we may be turning a corner. Our zipcode of 22192 has currently listed 75 Detached single family homes available. Of those, only 26% are foreclosures or short sales. Townhomes are a bit higher at 55%. This is remarkable based on what we saw throughout the past two years. The word is getting out and banks are working with people. With a total of 143 properties on the market in Lake Ridge we are now at only 2 months of inventory. Maybe it is a good time to sell a home. It certainly is a great time to buy in Lakeridge Virginia. Low pricing, no hassles with bank addendums or waiting on third party approvals. 61% and growing is the total amount of owner offerings available to those looking to locate here. That number was close to only 10% this time last year. This is great news for our parks systems and swimming pools. They will again be put to full use along with the local businesses that will again begin to flourish. As the title says, we're getting out of the distressed business! We may even see appreciating home values eventually. YEH!

Well this is good and bad :)  The foreclosure business has been pretty good.. :)  But I sure do hate to see people lose their homes.
