Feedback for sellers.... translated!

It’s really a cute home…. I could never live in that piece of crap!

It has really nice curb appeal….. I can’t think of anything good about this crappy house!

The rooms are small…. You own too much crap!

There is a strong odor…. It smells like crap! Literally!

It seems a bit over priced…. That house isn’t worth a crap!

Didn’t like the neighborhood…. What a crappy place to live!

There are too many kid’s toys…. How much crap does your spoiled brat need?

Didn’t care for the wallpaper…. What the crap were they thinking with that pattern?!#$%

We bought a different house..... Sorry, crap happens.



Of course, some buyers don't exactly display much tact.  They just tell it like it is!!  I think the important thing to point out to any seller is to not take any criticism personally.  You have to detach yourself from the house you are trying to sell.  Get a stager in, price it right, use an agent that will market the snot out of it, and get it sold!!!

Brian - Can you translate "floorplan didn't work for my clients" for me?  Interesting is that it always worded exactly the same.  I think someone sent out a cut and paste text file of reasons they didn't buy the house.  I'd rather get no feedback than canned feedback.
