OK Randy, I'm going to say butterfly, just because everybody else is saying grapefruit. LOL

I think you've all missed it.  It's a close up of an alien's eyeball.  Has your daughter been abducted, and this is her interstellar cry for help?

Randy:  Another great photograph from your daughter.  Outstanding!  This is really a neat one.  The gypsy moths outside my home are similar.  Their designs can have you standing and staring for ten minutes.

Maria, Anthony, Kevin, Gary & Michael ~ Grapefruit it is!  But can you tell if it has salt or sugar on it?   LOL

Roy ~ you are one sick little puppy, but I love your contrarian nature!   :)

Liz ~ If I'd known you loved grapefruits, I would have posted this shot much sooner!   ;-)

Sally ~ OMG - I think you're right!  You alien citrus devils!!  Bring back my daughter!!!!!!!!!

Chris Ann ~ That's the name I was looking for: Gypsy Moths.  I know exactly what you're talking about, and I love to watch them, too.

JL ~ All is well in the Valley of the Sun, my friend!  I've literally been buried with clients and transactions, and just not enough time and energy to devote to AR.  I'm trying to make some adjustments in my game plan, though, so hopefully I'll be able to re-activate myself on AR.

Andrea ~ you're almost as sick as Sally!  But...  I wonder if there are any butterflies that taste like grapefruit?   LOL

Thanks to everybody for enjoying and commenting!!

I went for grapefruit before I read your response. I like your animated picture of yourself. How or who did this for you?

My gut instinct said grapefruit because butterflies aren't shaped with that many wings. But then I thought, whoa, wait a sec. It could be a rare and exotic butterfly like the ones you see in the jungles of Ecuador. After that train of thought, I decided it's a cookie.

I'm late to the party, but I was going with grapefruit anyway. But I think Sally may be onto something! =)

Since I love grapefruit, I'm going with grapefruit. And if it's butterflies, well, they look good enough to eat for breakfast.
