This is a follow up to my post about the school bus that was involved in an accident on the way toCamp Thunderbird in South Carolina.

That same day, Mr. Sheppard, Superintendent of Cabarrus County schools, contacted Great Wolf Lodge to see if arrangements could be made to accommodate the children, to try and make up for the accident and canceled school trip.

EXCELLENT Localism post, Tony!  I think it's wonderful that they allowed the children to 'make up' the field trip and what a fun place to go!  You have alot of cool things to do in your area--very kid-friendly!

Hi TO, So glad to hear that those kids that had the bus accident were able to move on and forget about that scary day. Looks like great fun.  Did you go in the water park, too?

Mr Tony,

I do not like wolves. Please change the topic of this blog. You scare me. I am not merely a tender morsel.

What a great post.  On so many levels!

First, what the lodge did for those kids was awesome!

Second, good job to you!  I'm glad you highlighted your outing, both to recognize the lodge for their generousity, as well as to let consumers know about a great local attraction in the Concord, North Carolina area!

Mr Tony,

I came here because you are one of the only people who does not try to trick me. I was hoping for inspiration but you have not posted in a few days. Missing your insight.

Does one have to be a kid to go there? If not, I would volunteer as a chaperone, as long as it's not illegal for the kids to get the chaperones all wet.
