(Please Buckle up) and please respect the road!
This is not a very good sight to see and when I drove by I had to come back for a double take.
I came across this sight 30 miles south of Goldfield Nevada on Hwy 95 headed north towards Reno.
I really don't like when people put all this garbage on the sides of the roads and take away the natural look, but this may be an exception!
You might not be able to see all the crosses but there are (Five) with t-shirts hanging over the crosses, children. There are (Two) larger crosses on the far left, adults and (Two) little crosses in between that may have been babies.
I am not sure what really happened here, but knowing this road as a two lane here is what I think!
Van full of kids, mother, father and children headed to a soccer game driving in a (Van) either trying to pass another car or maybe person in on coming vehicle asleep at the wheel/ drunk driving hit a semi-truck head on and killed all of them at the location.
After taking these photographs, I closed my eyes and prayed for all the people and children that died a very sad death and they will be missed by many.
There are signs on the both sides of the road for about 117 miles where you have to drive with your head lights on during the day.
(Below) is a photograph of the soccer t-shirt that is over the crosses and this blog has been posted to localism, so if anyone knows the real story please comment.
