Dear Top Performer:

Is it just me or is there an amazing amount of pure drivel posted on Active Rain? I went through the Featured Blogs the other day. I don't think there was one original thought or idea shared. I would love to know who decides to these blogs should be featured. Even worse than the articles are the comments. An article truly stinks and then 50 people line up to say how great the information is. Somehow the bar must be raised in real estate. The top left corner of my screen reads 146,830 members. I wonder what people are looking for when they join this site. My guess is the networking opportunities could be very profitable. However if an agent is looking for great tips or strategies for doing more business..... GOOD LUCK!!

Well Steve, I went over and checked out your site and it looks like the same old same old bulls**t that so many "coaches" have been dribbling around for decades.

Wonder why I am reacting to your post with such negativity? Well, your post is negative to begin with. And your post is basically an advertisement. And your post reveals your ignorance of what most of us are doing here.

I learn so much from the people that willingly take their time to share their knowledge and expertise here.  It's the best continuing education I've ever received.  

I've also learned to not write articles that are blatant "pick me" posts that read like hyped up newspaper ads.

Personally I've learned more here on Active Rain than I ever did anywhere else about too many topics to mention.  I looked at your site.  If I want scripts, now I know where to go.  For pertinent, up-to-date information about the real estate market, I'll keep reading and commenting here, thank you very much.

I think you must have had a lapse in judgment when you drafted this post.  After all, it is the wee hours in the morning in California.  Surely - I mean surely you didn't think that insulting "Rainers" would do your business good??? 

I did not go to your site.  If you would have told me something compelling about what you offer instead of blasting others, I might have taken the time.

I'm always amused when someone schilling their own product takes shots at their competition.

You're certainly entitled, but I don't think the strategy works very well. Sure, you'll get some extra website hits by people clicking on your link, but if they don't stay, or buy, what's your gain?
