Hope all are having a good Memorial Day Weekend.

I am working the up desk at the main office and finial got confirmation that the closing I have been working on for 2 months is going to happen by the 31th and a live buyer came in and I have set up showing appoints for this week coming up.  I Hope this meaning business is picking up.

I have a question for anyone who wishes to answer, How do you get the buyer,s agent to push to get their clients to close.  The agent won't communicate the reason for the hold ups and my clients want to know why it is taking so long.

Raynelle, my guess is it is the lender. Have you spoken to them ? Most buyer agents I know need the sale.

I agree with Missy here, you may want to inquire about delays because of financing.  Good luck, have a great weekend!

I will third the suggestion that you be in contact with the lender and the title company.

It sounds like you need to ask the lender what's up. Have a great weekend and good luck!

Raynelle,

I will put my money on it be the lender also. They have fired so many in brokers since last year, they can't keep up and they fall behind. I've had one closing happen on time in the last 3 months and all do to lenders waiting until the last minute.
