Renew and the Greenbriar Inn are pleased to donate a portion of the proceeds from the upcoming Ladies' Night to Cancer Community Charities!

"The "3C's" got its unofficial start in 1962 as the Cancer Crusaders Bowling League.

Since 1975 when the 3Cs became a formal nonprofit, they have donated more than $600,000 to charities serving Kootenai County's disadvantaged.

Now more than 600 members strong, annual dues are $15 per person.

It raises money through participation fees for various activities available to members including a book club, garden club, gourmet cooking group, bridge games, golf, ballroom dancing, Mah Johgg, travel and bowling.

The group also raises funds while having fun through its well-known local singing group, The Coeur d'Aleers, and by participating in Kootenai Health's Festival of Trees.

The organization holds two major fundraisers of its own each year, a fashion show in May and a winter wine taste..."
