Not everyone is familiar with the Quarter share concept so here is how it works. You are able to purchase weeks assigned as  "A,B,C & D" this will determine your schedule for years to come. But every owner has a fair chance to have every conceivable week during a four year period. Since the calender year has 52 week, you are assigned 13 weeks of ownership annually, with a maintenance week each May, and an odd number of days each month, your use dates will change each year. This assures that you will get Christmas week, fourth of July, Thanksgiving Etc.. every fourth year.

But it's time-share isn't it? Technically yes, you can rent your weeks, exchange them to travel to all the other affiliated resorts in the world and you don't have "FULL OWNERSHIP". But that is where the comparison ends: since you have 13 weeks of ownership in one resort...it is your home away from home, and all the other owners of Week "B" (for example) are going to be there when you are there.

A five star hotel that you own a week each month : Amenities include a health club & Spa, restaurants, on site equipment storage and rentals, front desk booking service, River frontage on the Pemigewasset , and of course the ability to walk out the door and ski to the lifts.

Condo accommodations offer full kitchens, king size master bedroom and guest room, with 2 full baths...new carpet marble counter tops and are beautifully furnished and decorated. Prices start under $35,000 for ownership of 13 weeks...slope side at Loon Mountain Ski Resort, Lincoln New Hampshire.

Take the train from one base lodge to the other, this is big mountain skiing with year round activites for the whole family.

For a resort area I think this is a great thing for clients.  Spending a fraction of the cost I am assuming and still getting to enjoy great vacations.

Kim... this is great way to break up the cost of ownership...the condo fee pays for everything so no stress about shared expenses.

Steve...I always worry about the other tenents.  I realze there is some kind of assoc. but it still bothers me.  Great concept for many!

Bill, the dues pays for cleaning each week and the other owners have as much of a vested interest as any buyer. It really works out fair in the end.

Terry...I have a client that uses two weeks in the winter, a week in the summer, rents a few to cover his costs Exchanes a week to visit an island vacation and donates a week to a charity each year. 13 weeks is a lot of time to use, enjoy, gift and make money on.
