We, Minnesotans, have taken a stand and together with our elected officials everyone's right to breathe clean air will be enforced.
On October 1, Minnesota will become the twentieth state in the nation to become smoke-free. Secondhand smoke is a leading cause of preventable death in America.
Bar and restaurant workers will finally have the same health protection that other Minnesota workers have long enjoyed.
I think if there are no alternatives ( ie bars and restaurants where they can still smoke) they won't stay home forever.
