Remember the Movie? A Mountain Scene

A very famous movie , Sgt York, with a very famous actor Gary Cooper is a classic. For those of you who remember the movie The whole trouble York got into was over a piece of bottom land. In the mountains bottom land used to be the most valuable. Why? because it was flat less rocky and you could farm it. Look at the photo below.A scene in the mountains      Pickens County is where this scene was shot. Take a look at the lush green and growing grass. This is bottom land. It is surrounded by mountains. Look how dense the grass is. Just as an idea Dade County Florida over 1 million people. Queens County New York over 1 million people. Many other counties over 1 million or over 500,000. Pickens county 45 minutes from North Atlanta suburbs 22,000 people ! You do not have to go West young man for wide open spaces and nature. The North Georgia Mountains are beautiful and affordable !

Charlie- Very good point about land being available-- How much per acre does this type of property run?
