I have to admit, I didn’t really know much about the Weatherstone subdivision in Westminster just off 117th and Sheridan but I attended an open house event there the other day and was rather impressed.
It’s not a very big area but is within walking distance (although a bit of a hike) of numerous shops and stores such as Kohl’s, King Soopers, Kmart, Hobby Lobby, Starbucks, Fox & Hound Bar (the walking distance part may be important here!) and several fast food restaurants.
It has a couple of playgrounds, a pool and backs to a massive open space area with walking trails. The church just south of the subdivision has plans to expand as well as increase their use of professional landscaping.

In the last few months, the lowest priced home there sold for $203,000 and the highest sold for $392,500 for an average of $165 per square foot.
