From 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the second Sunday of every month but April, cyclists, skateboarders, wheelchair users, and tots in strollers will have the roads of North Mountain Park to themselves as part of the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department's Silent Sunday program. North Mountain Park is located at 10600 N. Sevent Street.
Shopping enthusiasts will find stores to suit every budget and taste at the Happy Valley Towne Center and Norterra Shopping Center, located on the east side of I-17 at the Happy Valley Road exit.
