I am dedicating another post just to allow all of us the opportunity to read a positive story or two. I will start!!:

1. Had a closing yesterday and wrote an offer as well.

2. Working on 5 short sale offers, a blessing with much work attached to it!!

3. Looking forward to a nice Holiday weekend

4. Having some friends over tonight for Chinese food and then we will all play soccer in our back yard

5. The weather has been great.

6. My wife and life have no strife!

Put a new listing (standard sale) on the market.  Showed it to a buyer and had a terrific offer in about 24 hours. It is in escrow.   It's been a good week for me.

I had to pick up doc's at the court house and walked right up to the clerks counter and get them in less than 10 minutes.                                                                                                               

My dog ate a lollypop stick last night (don't ask) and everything was moving along just fine today. :-)

The dealership where i bought my truck sent me a coupon for a free oil change and tire rotation

Grabbed 2 new leads for the office

I donated to the Firemans fund-drive today

The weather is predicted clearer for Memorial day which is a big bar-b-que and pool party at my house and my anniversary all rolled into one.

  1. Woke up 7 days in a row
  2. Had food every day
  3. Saw TLW every day
  4. Took 4 short sale listings
  5. Placed 2 listings pending
  6. Made offers for two Buyers
  7. Was put on hold for at least 2 hours a day with lenders
  8. Had more food
  9. Thought about having sex but changed my mind
  10. And finally.....gained 5 more lbs and put myself closer to hitting 300lbs before I turn 53.

* Ratified a contract on a listing today.

* Offer I wrote on Wednesday will ratify with a last set of initials tomorrow morning.

* Should have EMD tommorrow to ratify a 3rd contract (this one on another listing of mine).

* Lots more irons in the fire - mostly buyers, I could use some more listings.

* Home for dinner 4 nights in a row....a rarity lately.

* Took kids to see Grandma this afternoon.

* Attending family picnic Sunday and taking Monday off to clean the house (it needs it, and I will feel better when it is clean).

* My family is happy and healthy... and I love them all.

This week in review:  1 very smooth closing on Wednesday at noon, deposited the check from Wednesday's closing, can pay my bills now, closed a VA Home Purchase Board loan on Thursday at 4 that had been pending for 2 months - God is good!, showed homes to a buyer client several days this week, showed homes to 2 buyer clients that belong to the agent who enjoyed the week in Colorado,  showed lease properties to a client 2 days this week(it's money), woke up everyday, Jazzercised for my health, cut coupons to reduce my grocery bill so I can continue to eat, picked up another potential client today that called about a VA Home Purchase Board loan(I'm sarcastically greatfull), read the book entitled "Positive Things About Getting Older"....it didn't take long to read the blank pages, but it made me laugh, felt thankful for the closings this week, planted a new garden bed in my front yard to keep the little hellions next door from running through my yard :-), and I'm looking forward to a productive open house on Sunday.  Life is Good!

Yippee!!!  It was a great week!  Got PAID from my biggest closing in two years - this healed me!  Got an accepted offer on one of my listings.  Took a great new farm listing. I am totally inundated with buyer clients right now! 

Going mushrooming on no tell-um mountain tomorrow (after showings).  DAughter and husband and neice and husband will be there too. 

Partnera and I are in agreement on several people we want to try for our new secretary.

I am SO BIZZEE and Happy to be!

1. I got a late outstanding Mother's Day card.

2. I got a featured post.

3. I figured out how to index my AR posts, which I've wanted to do since I started. (which was featured)

4. I hosted an incredible Hillbilly Olympics for charity and already created a 9 minute video of it. (and posted it)

5. Had two signings of homes to close next week (makes up for the two cancelled escrows, but this is a happy post, so I'll ignore that.)

6. I got a call to list a home on the golf course... and I had sold it two owners before.

7. I got my managing broker to post his first bog

8. I was Pat Kennedy's newbie of the week.

My daughter got a $1,000 scholarship towards college (she wrote an essay)

I have had a 'unique' listing for a year and got an offer on it

Had a settlement in April and the buyer sent me two referrals this week.

Life is good.

I had a cool week.  One closing and I had my 1941 garage door replaced with a brand new 2009 model so I now have a clicker and my car will get inside more often! woo hoo!

Love this post!  We all need some positives in our life!

I had a home inspection that went better than expected.

Wrote an offer with some GREAT folks :)

Took a great listing, with a motivated seller.

Most importantly, I'm getting the first weekend off in months and the first day off in weeks.  I plan on spending time with my family, relaxing :)
