My first pointless remark! My cat is confused!

I have a cat with too many names!  My daughter calls it Hummany, my son Adam, myself Harry, the vet Kitty, and my husband calls it by many profanities.  He is confused!!

What is it about cats that invite multiple names?  We have 2 cats.

Franky: Frank, Franklin, Frankenstein, Little Dog (he's an honorary dog), LD (see previous name)

Boo: Boobles, BooBoo, BooBear, BooCat, etc.

And of course both get called the occasional profanity. :)

Very nice pointless remark.

Now I have to count my words. You'd think by now I'd know 50 words when I see them, but I don't so I usually ramble on pointlessly until I think that is probably pretty much 50 words. Done.

"lychee" for me.

Same with small dogs, we have two an almost bald pomeranian with consistent allergies that cause sores that he stratches at and the look awful, and a neurotic yorkie who runs around the house at the drop of a pin like a chicken with her head cut off!  The pom's name is Ceasar aka Weezer aka Ceasar Agusta; the yorky's name is Hannah aka Hannah Banana aka pussycat!  Trying to change them seems pointless tho :) (just like keeping my word count down is)

Thanks Mary and Theresa!  I'm glad I'm not the only one with a crazy family and a confused pet!

We have one cat - the other two (siblings) went off to college.Lots of Cats  Really.  We needed to reduce the cat population in our home and my wife voted against getting them a pet boa constrictor to play with, so two - Ares (God of War) and Roxy (who knows - named by teenagers) were adopted by college students who coincidentally live next door to each other.

The last female, long grey and white fur, is Majesty.  I call her Majesty, Maje, Cat, The Cat, and "Gacker" - not always with as much affection I should.  But my wife is in FL and I love my wife, so I love the cat a teeny bit, too.

Darn, this thing - when it isn't eating or coughing up hairballs, wants to be petted and scratched 24 X 7!!!  I gave her a back scratcher but I guess without opposable thumbs it's hard for her to use.

(Welcome to POINTLESS - nice blog.)

Thanks Art!  I think my husband would want our cat to go off to college too.  Maybe just go off anywhere?

We have two cats that live with us. Then there are all the cats from the neighborhood. I put a bowl of food out for them. I like to watch them on the patio. Some people watch birds I watch cats.

Cat # 1 in our house is Salem: Big Boy, Stud-less, Handsome, Fat Man - he even has a theme song. Sung to the tune of Batman, well I think you get the idea.

Cat # 2 in our is Christopher: Cupcake, Dumpling, Stud-less, Tiny, Witness, Chrissy, Chris, Angel Face, this one could go on a while.

Neighborhood cats.

Max who is really Sogum. Roxy who was Madison until the neighbor finally got her to stay with him, Precious who I have no idea what his name is or where he really lives. And #1 who belongs to the lady in yep unit #1.

Ashley- don't feed the cats. Won't they be marking territory soon? They will bring their friends, who will bring their friends, soon every cat within a 3 mile radius will be eating on Ashley's patio. Soon kittens will be born. Soon.... it will happen soon. Then you can post pictures here.

Teri - I would love it if they bring their kitty friends to my patio for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They can socialize and meet new friends. I would love to have baby kitties. That is how we got Christopher and Salem. Mama Roxy FKA Madison was a stray who we feed while she was cold, scared, hungry and pregnant.

This "socializing" stuff - that's why I kep my kids super-glued to the kitchen table - no baby "kitties" for this guy...

Art my kids are not going to "socialize" and bring home "kitties" that is for sure. But sweet little kitty cats are a different story. Of course I should be careful. Christopher and Salem where born the night before we left on our vacation. We have one planned for July and I don't need a repeat. The only saving grace was the momma had moved from our patio to the neighbors before having the babies.
