Leipers Fork, TN - Y'all Come an' Set a Spell...
By TwitterButtons.com
When I lived in Hendersonville, I used to take road trips on Sunday mornings, and Leipers Fork was on the agenda one day. Neat little town. That has been a while, so it may not be that little anymore.
The police car reminds me of Mayberry on the Andy Griffith Show. I can just imagine Barney jumping out!
Dana, Not too much has changed... What you saw back then is what you see today...
Thanks for the post. We need to visit your area!

What an interesting little piece of America! I just love learning about these little bergs that are out of the way and off the beaten path. These are the places that formed us as a nation. Thanks for sharing.
I want to find a town like that in Montana or Wyoming . . . full of lonely Cowboys.
Susie, Once you get your Airstream and IMAC, I can hear the wide open spaces calling you...
Michael, what a beautiful post! It really captures that area! I love your "git the stink outta your britches" as gma used to say saying!! I am gonna use that one! Have a good one!
I grew up in Scottsville, KY, so I know that area very well. I do miss the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee, but the area north of Conroe TX reminds me a lot of them. Have a good day!
