This is Just Below Kancamagus Pass elevation 2,855 feet one of the highest points you can drive a vehicle all year (plowed throughout the whole year for travel)
There is a Sign in Lincoln lets you know you are entering the White Mountain National Forest, and one other important thing...no gas stations for 32 miles (no nothing for 32 miles- but beautiful wilderness).
Enjoy the Mountain views, because you wouldn't see any buildings for close to an hour.

If you are ever in Lincoln New Hampshire Take a ride up the Kanc. It is a favorite of Motorcycle enthusiasts, Campers , hikers , or a family looking for a ride and a place to pull over an have lunch in the woods.
For you shoppers: The end of the Kancamagus highway brings you to North Conway...with many outlet stores to choose from in Tax Free New Hampshire.
All of the above photos were taken only a few miles from Loon Mountain ski resort and the Village of Lincoln New Hampshire...many water falls, and rest stops are on the Other side of Kancamagus pass about 10 miles from town.
