Tech TOOL: Scan your Business Cards for Quicker Input

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with MBA Broker Consultants CalBRE Broker #00983670

Got a stack or 2 of business cards sitting around?  Waiting to get entered in your database?

But -- let me guess -- you don't have time to sit at the computer entering all the info from the stacks of business cards you've collected.

www.cardscan.com

Get your contacts' names, phones, & emails entered into your database with CardScan.com.  Put them into Microsoft Outlook, ACT!, TopProducers, or any contact database management system you prefer.

Turn your business cards into digital contacts. Find out Which CardScan business card reader is right for you!

What about contacts you receive via email?  You can use CardScan for that too!  Simply highlight the contact information in an email signature, web page or other text file and drag it over to the CardScan software. It's instantly placed into the correct fields. It can't be much easier than that!

If you're syncing to Outlook, you now have your contact data there too, all with one click of the mouse. CardScan is the business card reader with online back-up, web access and an updating service. Your data is safe & you can access it anytime.

Virtual Office TIP:  CardScan Personal is MOBILE -- it's designed to take on the road, so it's ideal for scanning in your hotel room, on the plane, train or at a tradeshow.

I actually have an old CardScan--not the latest one. It works seamlessly with Outlook. A fantastic way to keep your contacts up to date!

Are any of these MAC compatible. I am looking for hardware that is compatible with MAC's as the more I use my MAC, I see what an inferior product that Windows really is. I am slowly replacing the PC's in my office.

I haven't used this yet but it does make it look so simple. I use Act and it would be nice to have this done so easily. Thanks!

Liz, I think this product works with all types of contact databases.  My understanding is that it's a generic file format that you can upload to any type of database.

I had one of the first card scans a few years ago, but when it died, I didn't replace it.
