Huntsville and Madison County Real Estate Update

Here is an update of the current homes for sale on the market in Huntsville and the surrounding areas. There are currently 2,405 homes on the market in the Madison County Area. These numbers represent residential single family houses, condos, townhouses, manufactured, and mobile homes on the market as of May 27, 2007. Different areas of the county experience varying statistics such as average days on the market and average selling prices.
Below these numbers are divided into areas. The first area is Huntsville City, the second area is Madison City and surrounding areas, and the third area is the remainder of Madison County. Of course, these areas can be further divided to show even more detailed information but hopefully this will give you more insight as to what is happening in your general area.
Current Huntsville, AL Homes For Sale
Currently there are 1,018 Huntsville homes on the market. So far this month, there have been 246 homes sold with an average of 80 days on the market. The average selling price is $173,260 and the median selling price this month is $149,900.
Current Madison, AL Homes For Sale
Currently there are 754 Madison homes on the market. So far this month, there have been 118 homes sold with an average of 89 days on the market. The average selling price is $238,646 and the median selling price this month is $195,500.
Current Madison County Homes For Sale
Currently there are 633 Madison County homes on the market. So far this month, there have been 110 homes sold with an average of 113 days on the market. The average selling price is $156,251 and the median selling price this month is $139,900.
