The Big Apple Circus Rocked! :-)

Took the shorties to see the Big Apple Circus. Had a Spanking-A time. We Bar-B-Qued in the park with our neighbors afterward. When I come back from dropping the kids at school and torturing myself in the gym I shall post some pictures. It was hard taking shots in the dark with kids running amuck everywhere. The wee people did not want to stay in their seats and we started watching kids row by row, then section by section (LOL).

Pretty soon groups of parents started arranging themselves on the row ends while the kids climbed over seats and raced up and down between the isles in the middle. All it takes is one three year old to start traveling to get the rest of 'em mobile and visiting. Trading snacks and admiring hot-wheel cars and glow sticks seemed to be top of the order with the boys. I can't remember the last time I had that much junk food while laughing at my kids expressions. We had mad fun. Some of the stunts were simply amazing. I'm almost afraid to see what the little minions cook up later on today after being exposed to such interesting acrobats. They already know how to climb and jump off the furniture. This should be very interesting... I hope they don't try to juggle (LOL).

If you go, be careful of the Circus Buffet. Kids are crazed for candy and hot dogs... Makes for extremely long lines. Seriously... :-)

Sounds like a whirlwind of a good time ... and I hope that the long term effects are not too devastating! lol

C,

I haven't been to a circus in soooooooo long I wouldn't know how to even act.  I would probably be looking like a three year old.  :-))

I'm sure it was a great time and all, but sounds like a nightmare for those of us whose childrearing days are behind us.  I'm exhausted hearing about it!

Richard, Stephen emptied my shredder so he could throw confetti. Let the shenanigans begin (LOL).

Don, I went from 44 to 3 in a heartbeat. Very cool thing to do with the kids. :-)

Sharon, I almost feel guilty leaving Mike to minion sit tonight. I popped into the office to return calls and peek in here at my bay-bays. I'm supposed to be heading out to Philly, not working (LOL). I can only play in PA for a couple of hours. My relatives are going to Nevada to chill on the slot machines. I told them to look up Robert Swetz (LOL). Amanda Marie promised to take me with her on the next L-Vegas run. Be afraid... be very afraid. I am soooo over there! She's got peeps with a very nice house to crash at. Too bad I don't swim... ;-)

C that sounds like a blast and tiring at the same time.  You write so well!  Love your way with words. I felt like I was there amongst the craziness!

Big Mike, the little minions will always be minions (LMAO). Noah tends to call Step little fella and at some point shorty started popping out of our mouths. :-)

Anna, I have aches and pains from chasing those two around the park. It was hilarious. The BBQ was impromptu and great fun. :-)

Big Brother, if I didn't have REBar Camp (PA) I'd be on a plane heading your way with Amanda Marie. My cuz is doing your neck of the woods. I promised I'd take the next family trip out and will let you know when we're coming. She goes like clock work (LOL). Now that I have a minion sitter I've been running all over the place collecting eye candy. I really need to post this stuff. :-)
