When was the last time you went to a drive in movie?

Around here they seem to be a thing of the past except for one Friday per month during the summer months in Brecksville Ohio.

Mark you calendars for the following FRIDAYS in the summer.

June 12, 2009 Disney's "Bolt"
July 10, 2009 TBA
August 14, 2009 TBA

Movies will be shown in the Brecksville Community Center parking lot and are FREE. Shows begin theater snacks at dusk and concessions are available.

Ahhhh!! those were the good ol' days!! We would all pile into the station wagon & go to the drive in!! We would bring our own popcorn & my mom would let us pick out a soda from the store. They were about .17 cents each! That was fun!

We only have one drive in left in the area and now you have me wanting to pack up the car and take the family to the movies. I guess we have this weekends plans made already, thanks for the idea. I haven't been to the drive-in since I was 19. (Weird, I don't remember the movie)
